Copamarina Beach Resort is situated on a soft-sand beach in the Guánica Dry Forest World Biosphere Reserve on Puerto Rico's southern coast. Live music is offered every evening on a terrace in front of Alexandra restaurant. Set off at one end of the Copamarina Beach Resort, a large air-conditioned health spa decorated with African artifacts contains a complimentary fitness center offering cardio and weight machines as well as free weights. The Copamarina Beach Resort offers 106 guestrooms in five two-story buildings colored white and yellow with wood trim and steeply pitched red tin roofs. Featuring natural-colored pine and wicker furniture, tile floors, brightly colored bedspreads, and green and yellow walls, the decor and furnishings create a casual ambience. Ceiling fans and louvered windows provide a cooling option to rooms' air conditioning. Rooms are reserved under one of the following plans:

Las Palmas Café - Open-air, sea-view spot with wood-beam ceiling, wood tables, chairs. Buffet and á la carte breakfast. Lunch menu of sandwiches, salads, fruit platter, burgers, grilled fish, beef tenderloin, pork chops. Kids menu. Alexandra - Air-conditioned dining room featuring reed-mat ceilings, white linens, potted plants and open-air terrace seating. Appetizers include chopped salad, lobster risotto, crab cakes. Main courses include lobster with garlic sauce, sautéed mahi mahi, red snapper stuffed with lobster and shrimp, beef tenderloin tips in onion sauce, pork chops, and lamb chops. |
Recreation
Play on two lighted tennis courts is also complimentary. Motorboats can be rented on the beach. Guides lead snorkeling trips (surcharges) to a nearby reef and scuba-diving excursions to famed sites such as a 22-mile-long coral wall that descends to 120 feet before ending over a 2,000-foot void. Instructors offer scuba-diving classes for fees. Guánica Dry Forest, designated by the United Nations as a World Biosphere Reserve, nearly encircles the resort and contains 14 hiking trails. Other recreational activities listed below are available near the resort; fees may apply. |
Policies
Listed room rates apply to a maximum number of guests for each room category. A charge is levied for each extra guest age 12 and older. There are no extra-guest charges for children age 13 and younger.
Cribs and rollaway beds might be available and should be requested at the time of booking. Fees may apply.
Photo identification and credit card or cash deposit are required upon check-in for incidental charges.
